Geneva Show visitors set their sights on new Ford Focus

Ford is ready to reveal what it is calling the "most advanced Focus ever", including a range of innovative and improved technologies.

The Geneva Motor Show will be the stage where Ford unveils its latest release, with the model bringing SYNC 2 technologies - the brand's advanced car connectivity system.

It is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel PowerShift engine, capable of providing 120PS and offering a 19 per cent improvement on fuel efficiency compared to the current equivalent.

Ford has announced it will be the first model from the brand to offer Perpendicular Parking, a hands-free technology that assists drivers when reversing into parking spaces.

The car will also be available with the unique MyKey technology, which allows drivers to set specific settings for the car depending on who's driving. For example, if parents want to allow their children to drive, they can restrict the top speed, maximum volume of the audio system and disable features if the seat belts aren't used with the help of MyKey.
