British motorists can now place orders for the new SEAT Mii, which was recently unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Spanish manufacturer has opened the order book for the three-door model, which it claims offer generous space, enviable quality and an impressive array of equipment.

With orders now being taken, those making the call early on will be able to get behind the wheel of the new model, which carries a starting price of just £7,845, from as early as June this year.

Simon Bradley, SEAT UK product manager, said: "I'm very excited to announce details of the Mii 3dr’s pricing and generous specification today.

"Clearly the city car segment is a very price-sensitive area and to have our great-looking new car available to order now at such exceptional prices means that we're very confident about the Mii three-door's potential in the UK.

"When you factor in unmistakable SEAT style, and a generous dash of sunny Spanish character, I'm sure this city car will be in very high demand."

The expert was keen to point out that the Mii also boasts SEAT's generous warranty offering.

Mii marks a return to the city car segment for SEAT, which last offered a car of this size in 2004 with the SEAT Arosa

And according to the firm, no stone has been left unturned in the search for quality.

SEAT said the Mii shows that it is embarking on its "most extensive new model offensive in its 26-year history in the UK".

The news comes shortly after SEAT announced that the Toledo is set to make a grand return to the market.

A new version of the five-door hatchback will carry the look of a saloon car with a sporty edge and offer plenty of space for drivers and passengers alike.
