Peugeot 3008 to benefit from 6-speed automatic transmission

The award-winning 3008 Crossover from Peugeot is to become available with a six-speed automatic transmission, the manufacturer has revealed.
Next month, the Peugeot 3008 HDi 163 FAP Automatic version is to be launched in two trim levels, Sport and Exclusive.
Providing 163bhp, the enhanced engine offers lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions than that offered by competitors, the firm suggests.
Buyers of the new car will benefit from two driving modes: automatic, which allows for quiet, stress-free driving; and a more active mode.
Standard specification includes features such as a rear parking aid, 17-inch alloy wheels with energy saver tyres, height adjustable driver and passenger seats and air conditioning.
Both models can achieve 42.80 miles to the gallon and have CO2 output of 173 grams per kilometre. The Sport offering is priced at £21,395 while the Exclusive version costs £22,795.
Earlier this year, Peugeot also introduced a six-speed automatic transmission for its 308 CC model.
