SEAT re-launches 'No VAT' campaign

Motorists in the market for a new car could be swayed by the return of a hugely-popular deal from Spanish firm SEAT.

The manufacturer has announced the revival of its Pay No VAT campaign in a bid to attract more customers and build on what has already been its most successful year to date.

Under the terms of the deal the SEAT Ibiza five-door 1.4 SE Copa and the sporty SEAT Leon 1.6 TDI S Copa hatchback can be purchased VAT-free.

Peter Wyhinny, managing director of SEAT UK, explained: "It has been a fantastic year for SEAT so far and, year to date, we have recorded our highest ever share of the UK's new car market.

"The popularity of our previous Pay No VAT offer and the incredible added value of our limited edition Copa models have both clearly helped that success. Now we are combining the appeal of these to produce what I believe is the very best new car offer around."

It follows the publication of SMMT figures, which showed that Seat's sales increased by 100 per cent last month when compared to September 2010.
