The moment you sit in the bespoke seats of the Raptor, it’s clear this is no ordinary pick-up. A range of advanced technologies and smart systems deliver a driving experience like no other. And at the press of a button you can engage the powerful new Terrain Management System. For a ferocious off-road experience, select the unique Baja mode.
Outside, every aspect of the All-New Ford Ranger Raptor is purpose-built to maximise capability, durability and off-road performance. Inside, advanced technologies help ensure that wherever you go, you’ll be comfortable and connected. For example, a built-in FordPass Connect modem enables you to lock and unlock the Raptor remotely. When you swap harsh terrain for well-kept tarmac, you can avoid hold-ups with live traffic updates sent straight to your in-car navigation system. And if you’ve got signal in the wilderness, you can connect up to ten devices to a Wi-Fi hotspot.
The All-New Ford Ranger Raptor fuses off-road capability with the Ford Performance DNA that runs through the GT supercar and Focus RS. A specially designed and precision engineered, bi-turbo version of the Ford 2.0-litre EcoBlue Diesel engine has been paired with a new 10-speed automatic gearbox and paddle gear shifters. The result: an unparalleled driving experience. And purpose-built off-road tyres help you dominate every terrain, from towering sand dunes and thick mud, to fast moving river crossings and steep mountain roads.
Is the Raptor just a body kit or a walk up from Wildtrak?
No, the Raptor has been uniquely engineered as a Ford Performance Off-Road Racer. No other Manufacturer in Europe has a Pick-Up engineered in this way and the Raptor is a unique proposition. From the reinforced chassis, Fox Performance suspension and BF Goodrich Tyres to the specially developed driving modes (including “Baja” mode), the Raptor is a unique vehicle designed for Off-road performance.
Can you claim VAT back on a Raptor?
No. Due to the payload under 1000kg, the VAT cannot be claimed back on a Raptor. The Benefit in Kind (BiK) is also at the higher rate. What about VED? Raptor is homologated as a Commercial Vehicle and therefore registered as a commercial vehicle and subject to the CV VED band.
"The engineering modifications have turned the already likeable Ranger into a seriously impressive bit of kit - both on and off-road" - Auto Express
"With outstanding off-road ability and wildly enhanced appearance, it makes the Mercedes X-Class and VW Amarok look cute, and the various Arctic Trucks conversions available from other manufacturers seem clumsy and archaic. It's also one of the best behaved pickups on the road as well, another direct repercussion of all those suspension modifications" - Parkers
"The Ford Ranger Raptor is without a doubt one of the most accomplished pick-up trucks we've had the pleasure of driving when it comes to go-anywhere ability. It's simply mind-boggling." - Car Keys
