Citroen launches new Ds3
Drivers currently considering buying a new car could be tempted to buy Citroen after the firm revealed the launch of a new edition of its popular Ds3.
The hugely-popular hot hatch, which is the firm's car of choice for the World rally Championship, is now available as the Ds3 Ultra Prestige.
Unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the model is now in showrooms and is described by the French carmaker as a "bold foray" into the world of luxury.
Offering the same thrilling drive as the standard Ds3, the new model boasts the choice of a THP 155 petrol engine of the e-HDi 110 diesel with Stop & Start technology.
Luxury features include watchstrap-style leather upholstery, a crescendo colur effet on the seating, an Alpine-white leather dash and "ultra-thick" protective mats.
"Based on the already generously-equipped DSport trim level, DS3 Ultra Prestige is available with a choice of two striking body colours - Polar White and Thorium Grey - and features a sports spoiler, dark-tinted side and rear windows and 17-inch charcoal-grey alloy wheels," the firm explained.
"The Ultra Prestige graphic that covers the model's black roof with the DS insignia, provides a range of subtle contrasts, shifting from matt to gloss as the light changes."
