Citroen shows off new DS 5LS
The latest addition to the DS line has now been revealed by Citroen, with the manufacturer showing off the new model at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
Known as the DS 5LS, the car is a luxury saloon model and is intended to deliver elegance and style.
It has the typical DS front end as seen in all new incarnations of the vehicle, but also features a unique sculpted grille, which harks back to the DS of 1955.
Under the bonnet, owners can choose either a THP 160 or THP 200 engine, with both featuring sequential direct injection and Twin Scroll turbo compressors, twinned with a six-speed automatic gearbox.
It also features a number of technological innovations for the benefit of drivers, such as keyless access and start, blind spot monitoring and rear parking sensors.
Furthermore, massaging seats, airliner-style headrests and an air ioniser ensure that both driver and passengers travel in complete comfort.
