New models added to the Ford Mondeo range

For years now, the Ford Mondeo has been a popular choice for motorists and now the firm has added two new simplified, low CO2 models to the range.

The Five-series Ford Mondeo now has two more competitively priced models within it, known as the Graphite and Titanium X Businesess Edition versions with these costing £15,995 and £21,995 respectively.

Starting with the Graphite, this comes with all the exterior bonuses that you would expect, including 17in 5.2 spoke alloy wheels as well as LED front and rear lights.

What’s more, inside the car, there is a CD/MP3 audio system, Bluetooth hands-free and voice control technology and also air conditioning too, ensuring that drivers can cruise the roads in ultimate comfort.

Moving onto the Titanium X, this has managed to secure residual values five percentage points than its predecessor while still being priced at £1,500 less when comparing new models.

Under the bonnet, it boasts a 2.0-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engine which produces CO2 emissions of just 119g/km across both the 140PS and 163PS power outputs, which makes for an impressive reduction of as much as 10g/km.

Speaking about the news models, Mark Ovenden, Ford Britain managing director, said: “This upgrade offers Ford Mondeo customers more features, at a more competitive price, as well as outstanding fuel economy.

“This winning formula has always played a key role in Mondeo’s success and these significant range enhancements will grow its popularity among UK families.”

Ford has an impressive record when it comes to its Mondeo, boasting a whole host of different awards, and Barb Samardzich, Ford Europe product development vice president said this had been kept in the new vehicles.

“Our engineers worked hard to deliver a leading combination of power and low CO2 emissions that offers customers great real-world fuel efficiency – and Mondeo’s famous driving quality,” he said.

The vehicles also come with perennially popular Ford technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Alert, Blind Spot Information System, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Front Lighting System, Hill Launch Assist and Auto High Beam technology.ADNFCR-3205-ID-801570812-ADNFCR
