Peugeot unveils new 508
Peugeot has announced details of its upcoming Peugeot 508, which is set to be released in the UK in April.
Available in both saloon and SW body styles, the model features a sophisticated design and a number of equipment options as standard.
Motorists looking for a new car will have the option of seven powertrains, including a 1.6 HDi 112 SSS EGC engine with emissions of just 110g/km.
Further customisation will be available through five trim levels - Access, SR, Active, Allure and GT.
"The Peugeot 508 brings to the market a confident, stylish and well-equipped model range. Highlights include an elegant design, powerful, economical and low CO2 engines and the debut of Peugeot's new e-HDi Stop & Start System technology," the manufacturer stated.
Stop & Start functionality can help drivers save as much as 15 per cent on fuel consumption in urban driving.
Peugeot recommended its 3008 Crossover model to motorists last month as an alternative to bulky 4x4 models during the cold conditions.
