SEAT Len Eurocup heads to Silverstone

The SEAT Len Eurocup 2015 returns to action this weekend at Silverstone, for the third round of the single brand contest.

Altogether, 30 drivers, of 15 different nationalities, each equipped with a SEAT Len Cup Racer, will line up on the grid at the iconic British track, which boasts over 60 years of history.

The Silverstone track is 3.66 miles in length, with eight left hand corners and 10 right-handers, and has earned a reputation as one of the standout circuits internationally, as well as the one of the fastest and most demanding.

The single-brand contest is visiting the British track for a second year, following its first appointment there in 2014. Indeed, the leader of the overall standings and reigning International Series champion, Pol Rosell (of Baporo Motorsport) managed to reach the podium in the second race held at Silverstone last year.

The Spaniard will attempt to continue his good form one victory and three podiums in four races this year but his rivals, led by fellow Spaniards Fran Rueda (of Monlau Competition) and Mikel Azcona (of PCR Sport), second and third overall respectively, are sure to challenge at the British track.

Jaime Puig, director of SEAT Sport, said, "We're enjoying it. The competition is very enjoyable for everyone and we see that race after race. The battles in the first laps, constant changes of race leader and excitement throughout the weekend mean the series is gaining more fans every day. For the second time we head to Silverstone, where the SEAT Len Eurocup drivers will continue to battle this weekend."
