What is the EVA Scheme?
The EVA Scheme is a set of standards that span across all areas of automotive retail, including sales and servicing, that confirm a dealership's high level of knowledge in the electric vehicle sector.
The Scheme was introduced by the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) in conjunction with the Government's Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) and the Energy Saving Trust (EST).
To achieve EVA status a business must pass a strict, independent audit to determine that it meets the Scheme's standards.
With an abundance of electric terminology to get your head around, we understand it can feel a little overwhelming when you first start your electric journey. When you visit an accredited dealership, you can be confident that all staff members have passed EV training specific to their role - so if you do have any queries along the way, you'll be sure to get the answers you need.
